James and Nicole are incredible humans to share their beautiful home with the Airbnb community. Firefly mountain is such a special place. I absolutely hated to leave this morning. This is the first time my husband has said “let’s rent this place again.” The views were spectacular. Sunrises and sunsets were surreal. The best for me was star gazing whilst lying in bed. It was a magical experience. If you are thinking Blue Ridge, you need to rent James and Nicole’s home. I’m trying to find the best adjective in the dictionary to describe the experience - bloody brilliant!!!! Thanks guys for giving us a truly wonderful experience!

What a gem! The place is as beautiful as it looks. Everything was super clean. Lots of board games! We cooked a lot and they had everything we needed. Very responsive hosts who gave fantastic recommendations in the area. The house is literally on the mountain so not much flat ground for dogs to play on but they loved the spacious balconies! It was such a treat to stay at firefly mountain! Highly recommend!!

Incredible home with tremendous views and balconies to watch the sunrise! The large kitchen table and seating on the balconies were perfect for gathering to eat, play games and socialize. The kitchen was stocked with necessary equipment for cooking. The half mile drive to the home from the main road is a gravel road with steep incline but our car made it fine. Hosts are responsive and friendly. Highly recommend for a quiet, cozy, remote getaway!
