The positives were: Elham was very responsive to emails. Location was convenient to stores. Quiet home at the end of a street. The room was large with 2 beds. Negatives: Chose this property for a king size bed. Bed was a thin mattress- no box spring- on a metal frame. It was so uncomfortable we slept on a queen bed in the room instead. We booked one room but were told we were moved to another when we checked in. We had to wait until someone came to the door to let us in to the home. We were told we had to take our shoes off and leave them at the door on a rack. Given that, we were surprised the carpet in the room was dirty, there was hair in the bathroom and the toilet was dirty with urine stains and the seat was broken. We called about the toilet seat and was told the host already knew about it but no one came to replace it. The sheets on the king size mattress had stains. Lastly, there was a large driveway but we weren't told we had to pay extra to park in it until we arrived.

place is ok. response from the host was good immediately after the booking. no response the day before check in and on the day of the check in when asked for clarifications about the instructions in the check in related to the lock. We were three people who checked in. When we woke up in the morning to take shower, There was hand soap on the sink but no soap or shampoo in the shower. We have rented airbnbs previously but did not anticipate that we have to check if these kind of basics were in the room when we paid $172 per night.
