This room was spotless and the bed was comfy. The location is walkable into Ballarat. The host was friendly and welcoming. The cafe is a must visit, delicious food!

Hotel Canberra is a charming old hotel, first built in the 1860's. It has undergone extensive renovations and we are ready to welcome guests. Our trio of Paul, Jigs and Pete (thats me) have collectively visited and worked in over 100 countries, sleeping in everything from a tent to a castle. We are committed to offering our guests a little luxury in our three bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a kitchenette and a soon to be completed 4th bedroom. Our one bedroom apartment is self contained with tea and coffee facilities, and views across Mounts Buninyong and Warrenheip. We are a short walk to Lake Wendouree and the heart of Ballarat's cultural activities. With extensive experience in hotels and hospitality, we are excited to welcome you to our charming property. Bobby's, our bar with a focus on artisan, craft and hand made beverage is now open for a drink or a snack. Our licensed cafe is open 7 days from 7am weekdays and 8am weekends. You'll find lots to keep you busy.
