A beautiful and cozy cottage situated close to Inverness airport and Nairn. A thoughtful hamper of local bread, honey, eggs and other items was a wonderful welcome! The local area has great amenities, especially the local tavern for food and drinks, and good walks. Would highly recommend staying here!

This is by far our favorite Airbnb! What a beautiful, comfy, cozy house in a great location. We loved the peaceful surroundings and the village of Cawdor. There was a basket of bread, honey, and fresh eggs waiting for us when we got there. We felt right at home! We hope to return one day.

A lovely place for unwinding and getting away from it all. Kitchen had a good selection of supplies and it was nice to arrive to milk, bacon and a few other food stuffs. Kitchen ventilation worked once we removed the clogged filter. Upstairs bedrooms are small with steep pitched ceilings. Great for kids but less comfortable for us tall adults - though we knew this was the case from the pictures. I've updated gmaps so that it now shows the correct location for the address. Pub is in walking distance and we went there for several meals. Great walks in the area. We also recommend Pure Bakery for celebration cakes. We'll be back!

The house is beautiful, spacious and we felt very much right at home. We received a lovely welcome gift and the kitchen was very good equiped! We didn‘t use the bathtub to shower upstairs, because we would have set everything under water. The only negative point is that the heating for the radiators and the warm water were shut down at 9pm. So we needed to turn the heating back on during a very cold shower! It would have been nice to have known this beforehand! All over we would come back anytime and our dog enjoyed the fenced garden very much!
