Welcome to this small loft situated in the heart of Trastevere! Located on the top floor of a sixths century tower, it retains its purest Romanity and is pleasantly immersed in the most typical of Roman districts. This small apartment is a jem of originality; starting from the wooden stairs and the many small windows that offer a unique view of the city. To welcome you, amazing biscuits, good coffee and many different types of tea.

This Airbnb was fantastic! Alessandro was extremely responsive, checked us in when we arrived and was SO kind in recommending local eats and how to get around. I wish we could’ve stayed at Alessandro’s place for longer- the place was clean, very cozy, had a lot of character and was walking distance to a ton of places! We walked all over Roma and made our way back to the Airbnb without taking a car. I can’t say enough great things about this Airbnb!
This apartment is a private oasis in the heart of Travestere. The space is comfortable and clean. The neighborhood and ambiance were amazing. I will definitely stay here again. Alessandro was a perfect host, friendly, accommodating, and had wonderful local suggestions. One thing to note, not a criticism but just so people know: it is not an apartment for anyone with mobility issues. The stairs to the apartment are narrow and spiraled, and the loft bedroom is accessible only by a narrow wooden stair-ladder hybrid. It didn't bother me but be warned.

My husband and I absolutely loved Alessandro and his Airbnb. Very cozy and he was so accommodating with meeting up with us personally to talk about checking in and out and giving us his recommendations for the neighborhood restaurants.
We had a great stay in Alessandro’s loft apartment for 2 nights. It’s a beautiful place with a lot of character, nice sunlight and ventilation, and a great location. The loft is clean and tidy with character pieces like the lampshade and old wooden beams. The area is very pretty and well connected, absolutely packed with food and drink options, and a short walk to the river. Alessandro is a very friendly and enthusiastic host who met us for check in, helped with our luggage, and had many great recommendations. The only things to be aware of are what you’d expect for a small loft apartment - it’s a fair climb up some steep and winding steps, and the ladder up to the bed area is a bit daunting. But well worth it in our opinion to stay in such a charming old Roman building 🙂

It is located on the west bank of the river Tiber and takes its name from this position, “tras” meaning beyond the Tiber “Tevere” precisely. Some of the most spectacular monuments of the city are in Trastevere: first of all the churches of Santa Maria in Trastevere and those of Santa Cecilia and San Crisogono.
Trastevere is one of the best areas to eat in while in Rome and it’s really pleasant to walk through its streets, especially when night falls and it's dinner time! Whether you are looking for the traditional taverns or prefer modern and innovative venues, you will find in Trastevere the perfect area to satisfy all your culinary needs.
