We thought we'd get the jump on the busy tourist season (and the mosquitos) by heading out to explore Algonquin Park trails in late March. We weren't disappointed. Aside from some challenging ice conditions, the park was peaceful and amazing. As was Mackenzie's cottage. This cottage has everything you need to kick back and enjoy the great outdoors. With a focus on Lake St. Peter, you can either enjoy the view from the well-equipped patio deck or from the large bay window in the living room. We enjoyed watching the stars at night by the firepit. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. With limited dining out options available in the area during the off-season, we had everything we needed to prepare meals, including a bbq for outdoor grilling. Mackenzie was a very responsive host. Communication and instructions were clear and helpful. The cabin met all of our expectations. Thank you Mackenzie.
