Unfortunately, this is NOT a safe place to stay for tourists. Please be careful when booking this location, as the area has no paved roads to arrive, which can easily damage your rental car or the taxi when coming in, this is a slum neighborhood filled with trash, poverty, broken houses, dirty streets, creates very unwelcoming feeling. I lived and traveled in Africa for many years, and spotting a safe or unsafe environment for foreigners is not new to me, the description or the consequences of staying in this unsafe area should be clearly mentioned. Upon contacting David he mentioned that he understood my concern and would fully refund me via the Airbnb platform, just ask to cancel the reservation, so when I did cancel he refused to fully refund my money, and, unfortunately, I couldn't get my money back. I never thought I would ever need to leave negative feedback on this platform but this is not the area to stay nor the host to trust.

Firstly David was very flexible, as soon as we made contact David offered to come and collect us from where we were staying and drove us to his apartment. At the end of the stay David drove me to the airport and then took my girlfriend home. The apartment is on the 10th floor and the rooftop view was outstanding. The apartment was clean and well equipped. There was a fridge, Oven with hob, microwave and water dispenser. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Security at the building were friendly and helpful.

Very responsive and fast to assist whenever I had an issue. Apartment was also clean, easy to access and in nice location.
