Our stay at the yellow house was nothing short of amazing. It was the first time in Ireland for most of us, and our host made us feel right at home and helped us get set up. We told her about our plans for our trip, and she gave us recommendations, the phone number to a local taxi service, the bus schedule, and even set us up with some food. She was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us great recommendations about what to do. Castlecomer is a small town so we were unsure about how fun and engaging it would be, but we found it very charming and hospitable. One day, we wanted to take the bus into nearby Kilkenny and we missed it, and our host graciously offered to drive us in. We were so grateful and had so much fun, and our first trip in Ireland over St Patrick’s weekend was nothing short of amazing, and much of that was because our stay in the yellow house was so fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. I would 1000% recommend staying here to anyone visiting Ireland
