The lodge was extremely warm and cosy and clean, had everything you could need for a week away a real home from home. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and Welsh cakes on arrival. Bathrooms had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lots of towels. Hot tub was gorgeous. Amazing scenery and the local Caersews town had great fish and chips and we can recommend a train ride to Aberystwyth. Lots of lovely walks. Paul greeted us on site and explained how everything worked, the lodge was clearly signposted and easy to find. Would definitely recommend, feel very relaxed.

The booking agency, HoSeasons, was a little cumbersome to deal with (slow response times, confusing instructions, etc.), but owners/actual hosts (Holly and Paul) were great! Super responsive, helped us navigate getting to the house in the dark, gave us a welcome tour when we arrived and recommended some nearby walks. The house was beautiful and in an idyllic, private setting. We will absolutely be looking to stay here again next winter!
