Wow! We had the best weekend away here. 2 adults. 2 children aged 6 & 3. We all had the most peaceful, relaxing time. The lodge was far bigger than we thought it would of been, modern, clean, fresh & had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect as it was undercover, super private & safe. Husband loved the fishing & caught fish every time he did! Would highly recommend & come back.

Our stay was very relaxing, not something to scream and shout about so we didn't really think it was worth the money as we've stayed in better places for a cheaper price. There isn't much to do being in a quiet village unless you drive to Chester which is what we done. The home itself was clean but not to a high standard and the home could do with some maintenance issues being resolved. The main thing that irritated me was the brightness of the fire exit lights, we had to cover them as I couldn't sleep with the lights! And the other major thing is the door to the bathroom on the main bedroom, when you close it there's a see through bit right in the middle, exactly where the toilet is so you get no privacy at all haha. The kitchen was well equipped, we just didn't have any bin bags so we bought our own and it could do with a bigger bin. There isn't many towels or toilet rolls so you are rationed for your time there. The hot tub instructions weren't detailed enough
