I really enjoyed my stay at Cowrie! Bulloch house is really beautiful. It’s right by the beach. Perfect for morning walks. It would be better if the pool was regularly cleaned. Other than that we had the most amazing stay. The host was really warm and friendly, and so were the staff - just needed to add that.

Einer der schönsten Orte, an denen ich jemals gewesen bin. Traumhafte und sehr geschmackvolle Anlage, wunderschöne Zimmer mit viel Liebe zum Detail, ein wunderschöner Pool und ganz viele Details. Der Strand direkt vor der Tür ist magisch. Durch den angenehmen Wind war die Temperatur immer perfekt Ich hatte das Glück den Eigentümer kennenzulernen, so ein liebenswerter und bescheidener Mann, der das alles geschaffen hat. Der Staff war auch super hilfbereit und freundlich. Es war perfekt zum Entspannen, lesen, träumen, am Strand entlang laufen, die Ruhe und das Rauschen des Meeres zu genießen. Danke!

Bulloch House felt like a private oasis. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Great seating areas around the house too. The beach area was peaceful and quiet, with hardly any others using it. Although communication with Leah was not the warmest, it was prompt and helpful. Mark and the other staff members were friendly and professional, and kindly helped us when we found a large flying insect in our bathroom one day. (A suggestion to the owners is to install netting to prevent things from crawling inside.) The toilet was very clean, but ants were somehow finding their way to the toilet seat and bowl every day, which made it hard to comfortably use the toilet. Sadly, the pool was also not usable as it had too many bugs in it. The nearest supermarket is a 5-10 min drive away & food/drinks are not provided, so be sure to take your own. We had a fridge in our room with a small bottle of water in it, but would have appreciated having a communal water dispenser as it was extra hot.

Absolutely stunning beachfront property with lush gardens and beautiful rooms. We stayed in Cowrie and it was lovely with a sea breeze even coming through. The most incredible sunrises and morning beach walks accompanied by the lovely hounds of the property. Highly recommend. It is quite far down Bofa so a car is what I would recommend.

Wat een paradijs! Prachtige ruime kamer met veel oog voor detail, een heerlijke douche en badkamer en een ruim privé terras. Daarnaast geniet je van de prachtige tropische tuin met een geweldig zwembad en zicht op zee! En van daaruit loop je zo het verlaten strand op… heerlijk zo’n ‘privéstrand’! Houd er wel rekening mee dat er geen shops en restaurants op wandelafstand zijn. Met een boda of tuk tuk ben je in 15-20 minuten in Kilifi, waar veel leuke restaurants zitten. Ik kan deze accommodatie aan iedereen aanbevelen!!
