A spacious holiday apartment with beautiful views of Lake Lugano. The unit was done in excellent style maybe 30 years ago, so its a bit dated but quite comfortable.

Location and apartment are decent, however our experience agency renting it out was bad. Firstly, they didn’t tell us that there would be construction work in the apartment. There was a lot of noise early in the morning, a scaffold around the building blocking the view and people coming into the apartment unannounced and leaving the door unlocked when leaving. Secondly, two neighbors told us independently that the flat is being rented out without their approval, which doesn’t really make one feel welcome when staying there. Thirdly, when asking for a refund to compensate for these considerable inconveniences, the agency used a “piecemeal” approach sending us a little money whenever we complained instead of settling this professionally. In total we were reimbursed CHF 200, the rental price was CHF 650, which is a nice gesture, but in our view didn’t make up for the bad experience. I’m the whole process, Airbnb was no help, as they claimed this situation isn’t covered by Aircover.

Beautiful location with great view from room. Very spacious and could accommodate 4 comfortably.

This apartment is in a wonderful location. Easy walk to the nearest bus stop with regular buses into Lugano.
