This is just the perfect retreat to tune out, relax, enjoy the beautiful surroundings- beautiful lake with gorgeous stands of irises, the surrounding porch is perfect for your sunset drinks with only the sounds of nature & a very friendly mallard. Sooo relaxing.

For us, the best Airbnb stays are ones where we find ourselves learning something about the hosts because the property reflects something special about them and their lives. At Bob’s Bear Lair we got the chance to meet Bruce and Kim and hear about the history of their lovely family cabin as well as to spend two peaceful nights there. The place is comfortable and creatively designed, a real labor of love. We enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch and just breathing in the air. The Natchez Trace provides opportunities for hiking and history. The town of French Camp has a restaurant and coffee/ice cream shop. The Academy has a lovely lake.Thank you for sharing your place with us and our dog, who loved being able to run free.
