I enjoyed a relaxing 2 week vacation at Villa Lila during the “Green Season” in Koh Lanta. Whilst it was the low season, the rains ensured a verdant colour and freshness in contrast to the dry hazy conditions prevalent during peak season. The villa complex is set back off the main road and relatively quiet and peaceful although Phra Ae beach, shops and cafes are only about 10 minutes walk. Its also a great time of the year for cycling on uncluttered roads, especially the eastern side of Koh Lanta. The upper floor unit enjoys uninterrupted sea and sunset views and the dedicated work space with comfortable chair an office with a superb view ! Frans and Cookie are great hosts, friendly and always willing to engage and make their guests feel welcome. There is a small onsite bar/resto which is option if you want an evening at home.

Frasse, Cookie and their family were great hosts making us feel most welcome. They helped us sort out motorbikes and tours and transfers when we asked. The apartment is nice and spacious, clean and the beds were super comfortable. We spent a lot of time hanging out by the pool and eating delicious Thai food from the restaurant and watching the famous Lanta sunsets from our balcony when we were not exploring the island.

Thank you to the lovely team at Villa Lila for their genuine hospitality during my stay! Everything was easy, from the initial communication to the smooth & hassle-free check in. The penthouse apartment was clean, tidy and very well presented. The Thai food at their pool-side bistro was delicious (especially the tofu panang curry) and I enjoyed the sunset view from the large balcony. Highly recommended for couples or families visiting Koh Lanta.

ควรมีข้อมูลการเข้าพักเพิ่มเติม เช่น แผนที่ รูปภาพ เบอร์ติดต่อผู้ดูแลที่พัก หรือถ้าอยากให้ self-service ควรบอก อาคาร/เลขห้อง/รหัสเข้าประตู เพื่อลดการติดต่อที่ไม่จำเป็น - ในวันเข้าพักเราเข้าไปช้า(20.00) ทำให้ไม่เจอใครเลยไม่สามารถเข้าที่พักได้ การติดต่อก็ทำได้ยาก

The apartment is great, as described in the description and as the pictures show. Comfortable, clean and in a decent location for driving to bars and restaurants. The poolside restaurant is good, for Thai food and for drinks. As a family of four, with 2 children under 8, the place was fine. The kids loved the pool, which was very clean. The one and only issue we had was that we were originally given the wrong map pin. After arriving at a different property on the island, Cookie did give us the correct information within about ten minutes.
