The Bird's Eye was an excellent place to stay! We were in town to visit family and got lucky enough to find this spot less than two miles from my brother's house. We also got lucky enough that we got in Friday afternoon. It was a beautiful day and the view is stunning. We got to my brother's a bit late for dinner because we had to spend some time out front, having a cocktail and soaking that view in. I'm glad we did because it started raining that night and was still foggy when we left town 2 days later. My first thought when walking in the front door was that it looked nicer than the pictures, and that is not the norm with these things. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked so much better than your average Airbnb. Birds are aplenty there and my son enjoyed the binoculars and birding book and got some great pictures while we were there.

We've stayed at Shelley's wonderful home several times now and it's always a joy. The house sits on a hill with stunning views of the beautiful Shenandoah valley. It's one of the nicest Airbnb's we have ever stayed at and Shelley is responsive, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Shelley was an AMAZING host! She was so accommodating and responsive. The house was beautiful and the views were immaculate! It was so nice and cozy with the fire place and the fire pit outside. The place was so spacious and accommodated the 6 of us perfectly. We will definitely be back to visit soon!
