My new husband and I invited our families to visit and meet each other for the first time after our recent wedding. We loved the property as soon as we drove up the path to the house. The home itself was quite spacious and had beautiful features. It was very well equipped, though we did have a few problems. Property manager was excellent with responding, communicating and helping with all questions. Our family had a wonderful weekend spending time playing games on the covered porch or inside at the large wooden table. The younger kids loved the loft and spiral staircase. The gazebo was one of our favorite outdoor spots, even during some small rainstorms. We were at maximum capacity and used the space to its fullest. The ground level slept the most people, utilizing the pull-out couch in the same room as two other beds. Thankfully family is close and had no problem sharing the space. Everyone said they would love to come back.

Our family had the best vacation we have ever had! It is so lovely. The sunsets were jaw dropping! The house was perfect for our entire crew! The yard was so nice for the young kids. The older ones played cards out on the dock for hours. The kitchen was so user friendly and well supplied. It was an amazing weekend !

Our family recently stayed at one of the properties owned by the “Saint Phillip Square family”, the River Retreat at Wadmalaw. We would all highly recommend this home to anyone looking for beauty and peace to surround you! Honestly you should quickly find joy here! It does not matter if you are indoors with your coffee, sitting on the giant screened in porch, walking under a huge oak, letting the wind breeze past you on the huge gazebo, gaming or dancing on the grass, kayaking with dolphins, playing ping pong or simply just breathing, the beauty that surrounds this place is breathtaking! The place was extremely clean and the staff were absolutely incredible!! We would highly recommend this house especially for a family looking to build memories together! So again, Thank you Saint Philip Bemnet Square family!! Y’all are great!! We would love to come back sometime !

The property manager was super responsive and helpful. The house was so unique and amenities awesome. Loved kayaking along the inlet and watching the boats (and the storms :)) come through. Such a great experience!

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend on Wadmalaw! We crabbed off the dock, enjoyed cooking family meals in the large kitchen, and loved having our morning coffee on the screened porch overlooking the water!
