Communication excellente. L'hôte s'est montré très gentil, prêt à nous assister en tout temps. Notre arrivée s'est bien passée, le personnel sur place a été avenant et nous a assisté avec nos bagages pour intégrer l'appartement. C'est spacieux, mobilier local, atmosphère agréable. Une touche ancienne avec des boiseries et des vitraux. L'emplacement est top, à 15 minutes à pied des lieux historiques. La proximité du marché ne nous a pas dérangé. C'est animé en journée, calme en soirée. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas et l'hôte ne nous a pas avisé de ce fait. Les nuits n'ont pas été agréables malgré les ventilateurs. Le ménage n'est pas très méticuleux, il y avait énormément de moustiques dans l'appartement. La salle de bain mériterait des aménagements, pas d'endroit pour poser les affaires. Les équipements de la cuisine à revoir aussi, peu de couverts, vaisselle poussiéreuse. Bon rapport qualité/prix mais des efforts à faire pour rendre plus accueillant et confortable.

A beautiful historic building right next to a buzzing charming market. The apartment has all the prerequisites to be amazing with charming furniture, beautifully colored window glasses and a balcony with a view (since you’re in the uppermost floor the noise level was totally fine). Unfortunately we felt that to really justify the price point it would have needed to be in better shape. AC, and refrigerator didn’t work. The balcony door was broken. Amenities were sparse (one roll of toilet paper, no soap or shampoo, coffee, …).

Very central stay in Stone Town (right above the main market, which does also make it noisy during all times of the day so that should be kept in mind). The host was very friendly and quick to reply. The room is nicely decorated and pleasant. The air conditioning (in the whole building) was not working during our stay, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep unfortunately.

Bon rapport qualité prix, accueil agréable malgré notre arrivée tard dans la nuit (ou tôt le matin 😅) accès direct au marché, dépaysement immédiat 👍
