Pros: Spacious house. Amazing veranda to laze in. All the rooms have access to the veranda, it’s nice and windy after sunset. The area is quiet, and peaceful. The caretaker is helpful and resourceful. He arranged a cook and driver for our drop off. The cook is a meticulous person. She prepared our meals diligently. It’s important to remember that it is an old house that is located at a place that’s prone to dust. Be prepared for a thin film of dust around. The house otherwise is much like the description. However, the kitchen is extremely dirty, dingy, the drainage area is particularly deplorable. The dishes had a film of dust. There are 3 smart TVs in the house but one cannot be plugged in the power socket, because its placement is tricky. The TV in the hall is slow and it requires patience to operate, it hangs often. The Wi-Fi was not good. Not enough to run OTTs on the TVs. We struggled throughout.

The property is on a nice location. Kamaldeep is very warm and cordial. However there are lot of issues that needs to be addressed. 1) The property is very old ( Not in a good way) and needs serious maintenance and interiors. 2) the photos clicked shows the listing accurately but those photos are clicked from an angle where it looks all-right. 3) The kitchen is a mess. Although you may fund all the utensils but they are a chaos and the kitchen stinks and needs serious revamp. 4) Mr. Kamaldeep is very kind and constantly following up to ensure a comfortable check in, however the caretaker Mr. Salim is very irresponsible. He made us wait 20 mins and untruthfully blamed that our no was not reachable which was not the case. 5) The gas and stove is faulty, the gas was not working and when we called Mr. Salim he mentioned that try properly which dint work obviously, fortunately there was a new cylinder placed outside which we had to change ourselves to get the gas working. Property is waste.

Salim ji's help throughout our story start was extremely appreciated and he helped us quite a bit with our asks. Mr. Sodhi was very helpful, cordial, and proactive, too. The kitchen and the utensils felt a bit 'old' and in need of a revamp, is all. Not a deal breaker, though, for us. Thank you, Mr. Sodhi and Saleem Bhai! :)

Really amazing stay. Right in the mashobra hills and feels like you are at home away from home.

We had a comfortable check in. The caretaker cooked the food for us with a smile at 10:30pm which is quite late considering we were in mountains. The property is situated in Mashobra next to Gugnoo Dhaba and it has 2bedrooms with two attached washrooms , a living room with a dining table and a full fledged kitchen. The best part of the property is it’s completely fenced because of which my dogs could roam freely. The big balcony is a plus and is suitable enough for a seating of 8-10 people. Parking is just above the property and is big enough to park 4-5 cars. Overall a comfortable stay for a night or two. Would visit again. 👍🏻
