Great stay in Fort Davis - we were only passing through and needed a place to sleep. Plan ahead for limited food options in town, but for access to the McDonald Observatory, it was a great place to stay.

The room was very comfortable for my family of 5. Even though the kitchen and living room areas were shared, it didn't seem crowded or like we had to adjust our meals and chill time to the other guests - a lot were in and out. It was clean, organized, and rustic feeling. The inn is walking distance to all the shops in the town but set back far enough to feel pretty secluded.

We had a great time. Walking distance from a cute downtown area in Fort Davis. House was clean and we felt right at home. Beautiful starry nights located conveniently to explore McDonald’s Observatory, Monahan’s Sand Dunes and Balmorhea State Park! Our family had a great time and we highly recommend this adorable home!

Enjoyed our stay here. It was a quick one as we came in the go see stars at the McDonald observatory on our road trip to California. Loved the full shared kitchen, the beds were extremely comfortable and loved the extra fans in the room during a very hot time of year. We traveled with 4 boys under 12 so I will say that the walls are a bit thin and our neighbors did not like our noise level , which honestly was just regular talking lol. Could have just been the neighbors though. We also got great info on where to eat in town from the lovely check in team.
