We had an excellent stay. We didn’t even have time to use all of the fun stuff at the house because we were out hiking and exploring. Wonderful house with beautiful views.

An incredible setting inside and out makes this spacious, comfortable home a real vacation destination, as if Orcas Island weren't enough on its own! The park-like natural surroundings (giant trees, songbirds, water & mountain views), thoughtfully furnished spaces (pantry full of handy appliances, throw pillows and blankets, popcorn for movie nights), and seemingly endless options for on-site entertainment (pool table, video and board games, piano, media room) made all ages in our family group happy from start to finish. We didn't have time to try it all! The host made all of this accessible with well organized instructions, labels, and attentive hospitality. He responded quickly to our questions, offered fun suggestions, and generously stocked equipment and supplies that made us all feel immediately at home ... and hope to return again soon!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Jason’s place. The house is absolutely beautiful and exactly as pictured. So many fun amenities to enjoy throughout the home, kitchen well stocked with any appliance you could need, and when you’re ready to explore, great restaurants, shops and trails are just a short drive away. We can’t wait to go back for another relaxing weekend!

This place is everything it claims to be. I brought my 16 year old and her friends here for a weekend away to celebrate her birthday and it was a huge hit. Close to town, remote setting, comfy beds and great amenities. We would definitely stay here again. Jason is a very responsive and friendly host.

This place was overall pretty great. We had an issue at check in where it wasn’t cleaned when we arrived and we had to make our own beds, take out trash, find clothes under beds. The housecleaner was there and we couldn’t get her to leave. It was uncomfortable. After that it was super great. The kitchen is a cook’s dream, amenities are super plentiful. Basement game room was great. The theater room was fun but I’m not sure it was worth the hassle of such difficult directions. Last, its hard to drive out of property so make sure you can back up a steep hill in a tight lane in the pitch black. In general though, we all enjoyed ourselves. Owner gave us half our cleaning fee back.
