Amazing view from the living room, northern lights from the jacuzzi, If you are looking for tranquility and a peaceful environment only 10 minutes from Reykjavik with direct connection to route 1 and great connection to the airport this might be the right place for you. The property is very secluded with beautiful view in all directions includin the Reykjanes peninsula and Reykjavik. You can enjoy a nice walk in the surrounding area. Our house is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath villa that sits high up and has amazing views to all directions, it takes about 10 minutes to the nearest shop by car and only 20 minutes to downtown Reykjavik. Main floor has a fully equipped kitchen a large dining table that seats 10 comfortably in a open plan design to the living room that has large windows with a view that is amazing. There is a wood burner in the living area and a large sliding glass door leading to a balcony with a gas barbecue and a view over a large part of the property and the active volcano on Reykjanes peninsula, 4 nearby lakes and to the city. On the down stairs patio you will have a private Jacuzzi where you can enjoy some great northern lights when they show up. The area is very private and the road is gated.

Our stay at Stefán and Nanna’s place was wonderful. A beautiful and spacious house with good energy surrounded by blossoming flowers and gorgeous nature. Super clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts were also so helpful, flexible and friendly. Definitely want to come back!
This Airbnb was fantastic! We had an amazing stay! Such a great and perfect location, 25 min drive to the city of Reykjavik and 10-15 min drive to the grocery store and a local cafe for coffee and breakfast. The house was beautiful, great views and just far enough away from the city that it felt so peaceful in nature but close enough that you could drive in for the city to go for tours, restaurants etc. The house was so well stocked with snacks, laundry, and essentials. It was perfect for our group of 8, the host was kind enough for switch out some of the smaller beds for biggger beds for a fee for us. Hot tub was great to use too. And the host was very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend! 10/10 would stay here again if I ever come back!

Rural area, house stands on a 10000m2 plot, there are 4 lakes in a walking distance, you can fish in three of them and catch trout or arctic char. The road is a no trough road with very little traffic in the area
The road is gated, guests will receive a remote control to open the gate, there is plenty of parking by the house. There is no public transport in the area.
