Beautifully furnished one-bedroom guest suite in a central, but quiet, location and within walking distance of most tourist attractions - also a good bus service is nearby. The guest suite is a real home from home - comfortable for up to three people. It is part of my home but is a private space. As I live in the same building, I am available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone. Wonderful Georgian guest suite in Edinburgh's New Town. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed - it's a home from home. There is a double bed settee in the lounge, so the apartment is suitable for a family, but please note that the bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom. We provide a welcome pack of food on your arrival so that you can have breakfast without having to go to the shops. Please note that we have a 3 night minimum in the quiet season and a 4 night minimum during busy times.

A beautiful apartment, very big rooms, the bed was so comfy, i never wanted to get up from it. Everything you need in the kitchen, comfy lounge, lovely shower, peaceful, warm, a lovely place to stay and a lovely hostess.
This is masterclass on how guest accommodation should be. Veronique has thought of everything you could possibly need and it was all done with great style and taste. She provided breakfast foods and beverages which made our 6 night stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended.

The New Town of Edinburgh is a beautiful part of town, full of spacious stone built homes with large rooms and high ceilings. We are a stone's throw from all the amenities you could want without all the noise. We are 5 minutes from Princes Street and 15 minutes from the castle. Nearby Broughton Street is handy for shopping and a Tesco Metro is within 5 minutes walk.
There is a bus stop 3 minutes away at the top of Dundas St which takes you up to the Royal Mile. Great when your feet are tired of walking.
We are 10 minutes from Waverley train station, 5 minutes from the bus station and less than 5 minutes from the St Andrew Square tram stop, making travel between the airport and the apartment really easy.

I love living in Edinburgh - one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Everything is within walking distance as long as you don't mind the hills! I recently retired as a manager at a local university and am enjoying my new freedom. I love films, theatre and swimming and I've been known to see more than 40 shows during the Edinburgh Festival - it just requires organisation and persistence! I'm a homebody at heart and keen on interior design - particularly in finding ways for the old and new to work together. My apartments are definitely an expression of me.
