Marc and Dominique were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The apartment was well appointed, clean, quite, and secure. Local metro 7 and bus 47 were conviently located as were grocery stores, patisseries, restaurants, bistros, pharmacies, etc. The neighborhood was very French, no tourists. There was an esspresso machine, but not the type of coffee maker I'm used to (at least not one I could find), other than that the kitchen had everthing I could ever need and then some. The only criticism I can think of is that the instructions for the use of the appliances were not as complete as they could be. It took some time to work out the differences between American and European functioning of the microwave, oven, washer, and dryer. The differences between the microwave and oven were not intuative and I had to look up the respective product manuals online. The TV was fine with basic cable, all French channels. I was there a month and I can recommend it highly.

We stayed in Marc’s wonderful apartment for an entire month, and we felt like at home from the very first moment. The apartment is located in the south of Paris in a nice, calm neighbourhood. The city centre is easily accessible by metro, but there are also many restaurants around, especially in the nearby Butte aux Cailles. We could flexibly choose our arrival/ departure time and it all worked out perfectly. Marc is a super kind host, he always replied immediately, and left some recommendations for us in the apartment. We can highly recommend the apartment and would certainly book it again.

Très bel appartement ,Marc a été très proactif quand nous avons eu des problèmes avec le téléviseur .Je recommande sans aucune réserve cet appartement . Quartier tranquille et près de plusieurs lignes de métro. Sylvie et Richard

Otimo anfitrião, sempre pronto a esclarecer qualquer dúvida, muito atencioso. Ficamos muito bem instaladas, em prédio bem localizado, quartier bonito, tranquilo e residencial, de fácil acesso, próximo a um comércio variado, entorno muito agradável, lugar seguro, além de linhas de metrô e ônibus que nos atenderam muito bem. Apartamento excelente, de bom tamanho, limpo e organizado.

Marc’s place is truly a home, and was a pleasure to stay at. Well equipped with everything you could ever need! The location is within a quiet neighbourhood (far from the overpacked downtown streets of Paris) but very easy to access a lot of major transit routes, and lots of great food options within the area. The building was also very secure, I never felt unsafe. I wouldn’t dock any star ratings for this but the wifi connection didn’t extend well to the bedrooms so just be weary of that if that is important to you. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Marc’s again, and he was such a responsive, flexible, and accommodating host. Thank you for your hospitality!
