The house is immaculate- clean, new, tastefully decorated, and comfortably furnished. We particularly loved the great amenities with things not often found in other rentals like handsoap at all the sinks and ziplock bags and aluminum foil in the kitchen. Nice location- very private and quiet, but close enough to the center of Franconia and a few restaurants with more options 20 minutes away in Littleton and Lincoln. We visited in April, but it would be a great spot for multiple ski areas and summer attractions. The owner was friendly and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

What an absolutely wonderful time my family and I had staying at Toad Hill Lodge. The home is beautiful- so clean, nicely decorated, had all the amenities described in the listing, and much more. The house was perfect for 3 couples (including 4 young kids)- each family staying in a room. Beds very comfortable, linens and towels soft, and kitchen well stocked with appliances. Bar area was nice to have as well. John was so responsive with answering our questions and even met us at check in to go through the check in process and give us an overview of the house. The handbook of the house was also helpful to have before check in. The house sits on a beautiful property- peaceful, private, and we really felt like we were "at home". My parents enjoyed sitting by the beautiful fireplace drinking their coffee and watching their grandkids play and read together. Our two nights away stay was just what my family and I needed. HIGHLY recommend! We can't wait to stay there again in the future. :)
