Was definitely an amazing stay and perfect for our occasion. We had wedding to attend and decided to make it a family vacation and meet up with our older kids as well as having our little ones with us. There was plenty of room for all the energy our family has. Tons of room for kids to run around and the adults to relax. Not to mention my five year-old son catching a gator guard! Definitely plan on going back very soon!

You get what you pay for here. It's a great price for the area & how many it sleeps, but it isn't fancy. As others have said, the floors are funky. There are areas that dip when you walk around & one spot in a hallway that is dangerous due to a thick plastic cover. We had several stubbed toes and some cuts from that spot. There are lots of bugs outside that get in, but that is to be expected from a spot on the river. The trash was piled up heavily when we arrived and clearly had animals going through it at night. Didn't bother us, but it wasn't very clean. The water gets very hot, very fast and didn't seem super clean. Definitely bring your own drinking water and dish towels (there were only two). Dishwasher and laundry don't work very well either. The washer didn't drain. We checked thoroughly for bedbugs at arrival, due to a previous review, and didn't find any. Yard is GORGEOUS, the couches are comfy, the fire pit is a lovely space, & the kitchen is pretty well stocked with dishes.

As always I try to be honest in my statements,but this time I am very disappointed with what I knew ie: •pictures of the house are used from 10 years ago •The condition of this house is very terrible •the ceiling is collapsing,the floors have holes that you fall into when you walk and in general the walls and interior is very old and dirty •be warned-one of our colleagues was bitten by bedbugs and had to go to the doctor so he could buy the right medication because he was badly bitten In conclusion as for me this house is not suitable for any rental,only for complete demolition. In fact, this place was recommended as a nice warm place and it turned out to be very unpleasant. I'm glad we were able to change our location. These photos are not the real ones that appear in the app and it is not fair to lie to us like this. None of us have ever had such a bad experience, and please be careful when you want to rent this place,because you will be disappointed. I'm sorry to write all this

Our stay at Austin Vacay was okay. The host were very nice and responsive to our questions! But we did have a few minor things that we weren’t to happy with! 1st when we arrived it definitely wasn’t as nice as it looked in the picture the entire yard was covered in sticker patches and the outside of the house just looked like it hadn’t been maintained for a while! Then when we walked in we noticed it hadn’t been dusted and there was spider webs all over the place also the flooring had holes that had been covered so it made big dips in the flooring! Also once we got situated and settled in we cooked and the dishes and some pans we grabbed to use were dirty with what seemed to be grease that had been left in them. Also once we had used the towels that were rolled and left on bed they were still wet and smelled we tried to wash them all but the washer left them soaking wet which we had to ring them out by hand and let them dry outside. There was also mouse poop next to extra poop

This house was exactly what we expected and a great deal. We had a dad's getaway weekend and this location was perfect for our needs. Hard to beat this price for river-front property. Its not fancy or bougie, but the price reflects that. Would stay again, would recommend
