Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche mit vielen Unternehmungen , gutem Essen,super Wetter und einer sehr bemühten Vermieterin in Stavrinides gehabt. Wir haben die Sonnenaufgänge und den abendlichen Wein auf der Terrasse genossen . Die 6 km steile und kurvenreichen Anfahrt war etwas mühsam, hat sich aber auf jeden Fall gelohnt . Die Dorftaverne ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und die Freundlichkeit der Griechen ist bemerkenswert. Die Gastgeberin brachte uns noch Weintrauben vorbei und erkundigte sich, ob alles ok sei. Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank Rüdiger und Maike

We spent a week in October in Penelope's house in the village, we loved every minute of it. The house consists of two floors with the stairs outside. Lovely living room and little room with very comfortable bed on the second floor. And well equipped kitchen with everything you need for comfortable live downstairs and another bedroom. Two big terraces on every floor with breathtaking views, where you can have a breakfast or an evening meal. The are 2 air conditioners, wich works perfectly. Everything in the house new and the furniture is very comfortable. You are surrounded by the nature, small lovely green garden, the good aroma of the flowers. We took a lot of good pictures there. It is very quiet there. The road to the house is mountainous and picturesque. You need to rent a car to travel to the house. The homeowner Penelope is one of the sweetest person we ever met. She is very nice and caring. We felt like we are very close)) We hope to come back someday!

Firstly, the communication with Poppy was just amazing! She is such a kind and loving person, She was so helpful and she even dropped the keys to us, where we were. Any information we asked or any help, she was ever ready to do it for us. The house is done up really well and tastefully with all the kitchen equipment. The house is good for a couple as well as a family as it has a floor on top with an amazing view too. The location is in one of the most beautiful villages on the island as I feel it still has that raw atmosphere. Lovely neigbours that stop by and say hi and ask you how you are doing. The tavern called IRIDA is the BEST place to eat local food with a lovely couple that runs it. Full family vibes there. If you want to stay in a quite and beautiful location away from super tourist places and get the real feel of the islanders, this is THE place! I would recommend it with all my heart and we will definitely return one day. Thank you for everything Poppy and for making our stay a wonderful one.

The house is at traditional,sweetest Greek village. Road is sinuous,but it is worth. Cottage is amazing, wonderful sea view, we loved the decoration, most of objects are from Ikea,very tasteful. And the best part is owner who is so warm and helpful. She offered delicious homemade cake for us. After a long day it was like a medicine to us. We regret to not stay more,but hope to go again next year for more days. You need to stay at least 3 days because you will not want to leave the cottage.
