Logement très confortable et très bien équipé. On s'y sent comme chez soi. Très bonne localisation un peu à l'écart du centre de Bayeux (accessible en 15 mn à pied). Endroit idéal pour visiter les principaux sites liés au débarquement du 6 juin 44. Sylvie et Michel sont des hôtes très sympathiques. Leur accueil fut très chaleureux. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir chez eux à une prochaine occasion.

Sylvie and Michel’s place was a wonderful home base for us during our visit to Normandy. The apartment is in a residential area so very quiet and yet it is a 2 minute walk to a bakery and about 15 to 20 minute walk to all the various sites in Bayeux. The apartment was very well stocked with many thoughtful touches and nicely decorated. We were a couple so did not make use of the second bedroom but both were very well appointed. The welcome gifts were much appreciated and quickly eaten! We were unfortunately not able to meet up during our stay but throughout our communications there was always such a warm and welcoming presence. Very responsive to our questions in a timely manner and we appreciated being able to check in early since there was no one staying there right before hand. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It was also very centrally located for the WW2 sites and other great sites in Normandy. Thank you Sylvie and Michel for a superb stay.

Best sleep I’ve gotten during my month of travel. Everything in apartment felt like new. Easy to get inside. Totally private. All amenities. Lovely welcome gift of local delicacies. Helpful hosts. 10 minutes walk to heart of old Bayeux. Will recommend to all my friends.

A fantastic base to explore beautiful Normandy. Sylvie and Michel’s place is in a peaceful neighbourhood, only short walk from the centre of Bayeux . The accommodation is lovely, with two good size bedrooms with comfy double beds and all the amenities you need. We had the pleasure of meeting Sylvie, and she and Michel were quick to respond to any queries. We were very well looked after by our hosts and would be very happy to return.

We so enjoyed staying at Sylvie and Michels place. It was as described and close to the Center yet quiet and private. Communication was great helpful. Free parking two houses away. If you are considering a car place to stay while in Bayeux, this is the perfect place.
