I loved how Ivy’s place is super clean! Looks exactly like the photos she posted. She prepared necessities such as toothbrushes, towels, wet tissues, umbrellas, international plugs, etc for us too. Super satisfied with the overall stay, quiet and peaceful neighbourhood and walking distance <300m to train/bus stops. Other than having to carry your luggage up to 2nd floor because there are no elevator (but definitely doable, everything is so good! Would definitely come back and stay in the near future 😊

We had a lovely stay! Nice place, and very close to the station. It was in a walking distance from Hongdae Street, which was nice in the early mornings :) Ivy was a fantastic host, and was extremely fast to answer all of our questions (we had a lot). There are also plenty of food options close by.

If you like to live in a more quiet area, yet be close to places full of life, you are right at this address! This apartment was already a gem once we found it, but we didn’t know how much luck we really had. The apartment feels cozy right after entering and offers everything you need for feeling right at home. Ivy herself is a kindhearted host who always finds a way to help you:) Being g located in Mapo, you are really close to the main attractions, with two main train lines connecting this home. Each station (Sinchon and Gwangheungchang) takes about a ten minute walk to reach. And if you don’t want to drive far (e.g. for shopping) you have Hongdae and Sinchon right around the corner! We are more than happy that we got to stay here:))

My friend and I felt immediately at home once we got in, it was so clean and just spacious enough for two people. It was very easy to get to the metro station, and sometimes it’s easier to just walk 10mins ish to Sinchon station depending on where you’re heading to. it’s a nice quiet neighborhood but if you want the city feel, Sinchon is right around the corner, and Hongdae as well. We generally just walk there most of the time because it’s nice, sometimes when it’s too cold it’s when we take a quick bus ride. Overall it was a very comfortable stay, and we felt taken care of because the apartment was in pristine condition. We stayed there for a month, and it felt a bit sad to leave as it feels like home to us now. If you like to cook, this place doesn’t have all the utensil for you to cook. But the simple stuff should suffice.

if you’re planning on visiting Seoul, i 100% recommend Ivy’s place! It’s in a quieter area but is within both walking distance and a quick subway trip to Hongdae. With a subway stop just around the corner, it’s easy to get everywhere from here. It’s a lovely accommodation and I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s spacious but homely. You’re also provided with everything you could need! Ivy is an amazing, friendly, and responsive host. If/when I return to Seoul, i’ll definitely be staying here again! :)
