Reason for less than okay review: 1. The entire stay of 7 days we had no hot water. Since Vietnam is scorching hot and you usually have to shower more than once a day this was not a problem until my friend asked me "do you have any hot water?" I ran the shower for 15 minutes on both end and no hot water. We did not inform the host because we were too busy vacationing, but hot water is something expected in a 3 bedroom high rise apartment. 2. My flight came in early and I attempted to contact the host to see if I can check in early, his phone was off (number provided by AirB&B). I had to message him through this app. He later responded and was kind enough to let us check in early to leave our luggage. Second time I had something shipped to the place but was not able to be there, so I attempted to contact the host to see if he can help, again his phone was off. Finally, the day I checked out to go to the airport I called him again to see if there are any carts available to bring our luggage down from the 27th floor, again he was unavailable. I needed him 3 times and all 3 times he was not available. I figured in this hospitality industry, availability for your renters are high on the list, thus less than average rating. 3. Host never informed us for cleaning services or that anyone would come clean our place. We came home one day to find out the bed was made and no heads up or even a phone call to let us know. We are travelers and were shocked to find out someone came into our place, I think you would understand why. Overall, I hope this review would allow the host to make improvement for future renters.
