We absolutely loved our week at Angela’s place. The cottage was just lovely. Surrounded by lush gardens with lots of bird life, we enjoyed the Kookaburras wake up calls each morning. It is hard to believe we were actually so close to the city as it just felt so secluded and private. We usually stay in city hotels but we will definitely stay here again. Balmain East is an excellent location with easy ferry and bus transport. The cottage was very clean and the decor very well thought out. The bathroom, kitchen and bedroom reminded us of our own home and so we felt very comfortable. Angela was a great host and communicated very well. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. This was our first foray into airbnb and it was a very positive experience. We were a bit sad to leave to be honest!

The property at Balmain East was perfect. The location was walking distance to the ferry service and the shops in Balmain. Balmain itself has everything you need, shops, cafes and boutiques. The house was beautiful. It was modern and had everything we wanted. Breakfast and reading in the garden area was relaxing, as was the upstairs balcony. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and modern. We will definitely be back to stay again. Tim and Donna
