this was honestly ideal. the view from the yard and from the living room is what you imagine a tromsö view to be. the house itself is spacious, great location (bus stop 3 min, bus ride to city center 10 min, suburban, quiet, the sea is right there), great taste in furniture and decor, we (a family of 5) felt really good there. sippie the cat was a hit with our 4yo, the trampoline was also a major highlight with the kids. the store is just a walk away. on many nights we simply wandered around the beachfront looking for "the perfect rock". this is not a generic "made for airbnb" space with just the essentials. this really is a home away from home. 10/10 would reccommend.

Ida was very caring and supportive. She was very prompt in guiding around the place and the city. The place is not very far from the airport. If you are carrying luggage , taking a taxi from the airport will not be very expensive. However, the bus stand is also very nearby. To go around the city , we can just take a day pass. The house is very well equipped with everything. Grocery store/ super market (X-tra) is also nearby -5 mins walk from the house. Gas station is also next to it . I found Ida’s home a perfect place for viewing Northern lights. The weather was clear almost everyday and we could see the northern lights right from the house , as it is near to the lake. There could be some light pollution from the neighbouring houses , but you can still enjoy the lights from the home if the weather is clear . Me and my family we truly enjoyed our stay , and we also enjoyed Sippi ( the house cat) around us. Thank you Ida once again for inviting us.
