We were 5 adults on a bike trip to the Cowichan Valley. The house and accommodation were outstanding! This is a beautiful old house with all authentic antiques but with lovely updated renovations. We had such a memorable time, it felt like we were at a family cottage. David was very responsive to questions and a concern regarding running water which was resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend! We would love to go back again.

David and Suzanne were great hosts. We really appreciated being able to stay longer on check out day. The place is beautiful, even better than the pictures, with lots of interesting antiques, collectibles, and such (loved the dollhouse furniture too)! The kitchen is super well equipped and has a wonderful six burner gas stove. We had easy-to-set fires twice in the living room and really enjoyed the coziness of the place with its window and kitchen nooks. We would love to come back in the summer; it must be amazing then.

A stunning property along the river with so much to look at. Beautiful river sounds during the night, peaceful and so much charm to the property. Appliances all look antique but are perfectly modern and work great. Antiques galore makes for good guessing games as well. The cottage had all the amenities we would need and more. David and Suzanne were very responsive and provided excellent instructions on accessing the cottage and getting everything set up. Thank you again for hosting us.
