The 1st floor is used as an event space. Unfortunately, there was an event each night of our stay. The music was extremely loud and we had to ask the event attendees to move their cars because they were blocking the entrance to the parking spaces. It would’ve been nice to know in advance that there was a possibility of an event happening. We may have still decided to stay but at least we wouldn’t have been unpleasantly surprised.

The place is better than the pictures posted on the website. Spacious living come dining. Great master bedroom. The location is good and safe.

We had issues with check in where the elevator didn’t work and the keys were not where the instructions said they’d be. With that said Chad was very responsive and came over personally to help us get in. The house itself once we got in was nice but there are really only two beds suitable for adults. The mattresses on the bunk beds and pull out couch are very thin and not comfortable. The TV is also very small, WiFi is not really strong enough for streaming services, and there is not much sitting space in the living room. The one couch only sits three comfortably. AC was OK generally but didn’t keep the bedrooms cold. There were also stains on one of the couch pillows and some of the linens in the master bedroom, sugar ants around the kitchen table, and there was one cockroach we found running across the living room. For the price and location it was fine and Chad was great, but I can’t recommend this if you need more than two beds for adults or expect to spend time in the living space.

We rented this spacious unit in a great location for our family of four, who needed to be in Atlanta on short notice. The unit is fully accessible, a rarity in this area. We had a difficult check in experience but the host has since updated the check in information. Unfortunately, the listing needs to be updated to accurately reflect the amenities provided. The hosts are missing key kitchen basics and one bathroom was not clean. If you are sensitive to noise, there is a loud sound in the primary suite from one of the mechanical systems in the building. The unit is minimally furnished, with only one small TV and harsh overhead lighting. We missed the homey touches we have experienced in many other AirBnBs. The rest of the building is currently unoccupied. Chad has the building blocks for a modern rental unit in a great location on the Atlanta/Decatur line, but this unit would benefit from better cleaning, a basic kitchen set up and a general once-over with the guest experience in mind.
