Was lovely and clean quite spacious. Beautiful surroundings. You can tell they care about their quest. Kids had a wonderful time exploring. We would definitely love to stay again in the future. Thank you.

We were after a quiet getaway to recharge. Spookwood was perfect. We had lots of family time enjoying exploring the property, spotting lizards, feeding chooks and soaking up the sensational view from the balcony. In the home, there was absolutely everything we needed and it was a really welcoming, comfortable space. Spookwood did its job perfectly and we left feeling replenished and smiling.

We stayed at the end of summer when it was still pretty hot in Perth - can imagine the place looks gorgeous in autumn/winter when the land is green and creeks filled with water from the rain. Nonetheless, it was a very peaceful and private spot, the house is so lovingly and thoughtfully detailed and furnished, the kitchen is well stocked with basic pantry items and all the cooking utensils sold you need. We cooked our breakfasts and dinners daily and traveled with our 3month old infant and 4 year old son - and it was lovely. Our boy loved the walks to the creek, feeding the chooks and peacocks and the cute little fairy village in the rocks. Board games for the evening, surprising tv (with Netflix??) and a vinyl record player with proper vintage LPs hidden in the cupboard. We had a delightful time and would love to return.

We had a work trip nearby, and Spookwood was the perfect location for it. Emma was a great communicator, and the space was beautiful. Will stay again!

A very clean and charming country house. Very secluded so make sure you take everything you need. Kids loved collecting the eggs and letting the chickens and peacocks out each morning. Bedrooms were quite hot even with fans in them. All in all a very nice family getaway!
