Get away soon to rest, renew, or reset at Forest Lodge. This newly built lodge is lovely, spacious and private. You may even find it difficult to move past the relaxing front porch to enter your home away from home. I hope you will have time to enjoy a slow morning on the front porch with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise. The front door opens into a large open floorplan with a vaulted ceiling and many large windows. From each window you are able to enjoy an inviting view of nature. We often see deer and other wildlife. The interior is bright and airy with plenty of room to enjoy family and friends simply catching up, watching a movie, or playing a favorite game. To the left, there is a desk and a cozy place to sit and read a good book. We have Xfinity high speed internet. The bedroom is quite comfy with a window facing the woods. We recently added a loft that serves as a second bedroom. A very nice self-inflating and comfortable queen air mattress is also provided for kids or traveling companions. There is a great space to set this up in the living area. The bathroom is next to the bedroom and has all new features. The kitchen has all you will need to create a lovely meal. There is no dishwasher or oven, but we do have a microwave that also serves as an air fryer and convection oven. In addition, there is a crockpot, gridle and hot plate. If you prefer outdoor dining, there is room for 8-10 people to gather at the picnic table on the back porch. There is a gas grill located at the end of the porch to be used anytime you choose. Gather around the firepit and make some smores for dessert. We provide fire wood, bottled water in the fridge along with coffee, tea and the fixings. My husband and I live in the house next to the lodge, so please let us know if we can serve you in any way. There is a Walmart and other grocery stores within a mile of our house, as well as several restaurants and shops. We have easy and quick access to Hwy 24 and are 10 minutes from downtown Murfreesboro and 5 miles from MTSU.
