We skied 2 days at Catamount - house was minutes from the mountain. Perfect for our family of 4 - close by restaurants and store to grab food.

Sadly, we were unable to complete our stay at Jennie's due to a huge storm which caused a large tree to fall on the house and loss of power in the area. But Jennie was so absolutely lovely to deal with I wanted to write this review. Leading up to our planned stay, she was helpful and communicative and agreed to let us check in a few hours early. When we learned of the fallen tree, she called immediately, profusely apologized and even went so far as to send us food at the restaurant I told her we were waiting at. Truly a 5 star host!! hope to have another chance to stay.

Jennie was a fantastic host, so responsive and helpful. The house was exactly as advertised, a lovely wooded respite. Kitchen was incredibly stocked, bath products provided, board games and even lots of baby gear so we didn’t have to lug it all with us. Just a quick 10 min walk to the Rail trail and a 3 min drive to the Bash Bish Falls. Easy to get to Hudson NY and Great Barrington MA. Just as an FYI there is no TV in the living room which was not a problem for us

Had a wonderful stay at Jennie's place. The place was really clean and well kept. It was so nice to be right down the street from Taconic State Park and the rail trail. We swam and walked everyday while we were there.

We loved our stay at Jennie's cabin. The location is amazing, walking distance from the state park and great hikes. The house is very comfortable, tastefully furnished and the kitchen well equipped (loved the Chemex coffee maker and filters, a nice surprise for a coffee afficionado). The pond across the street had singing frogs. Enjoy your stay!
