Gastown is the historic part of Vancouver with cobble streets and old world charm. You will find the best bars and restaurants and a lively atmosphere just steps away from the loft. Public transport and taxis are easily accessible from the neighborhood.
Given the urban nature of the location, do expect some common street noise. The building is a heritage building and you will hear some of the liveliness of the street below but nothing too disturbing. The unit is 2 flights up, no elevator unfortunately. If you are super sensitive or have mobility difficulties, do keep that in mind before booking.

There is plenty of street parking downtown but also parking lots for weekly or monthly stays. Otherwise, Ubers and taxis are easily accessible.
