The Hemlock was great for our annual cousins trip weekend. It's a spacious, open concept, with plenty of room to hang out and visit in the living room, play games around the large family-style dining room table, cook as a team in the kitchen, or relax on the front porch/back patio area. Everything was clean and neat upon arrival, and kitchen cupboards and bathroom drawers were stocked with more than enough utensils/linens/supplies for the weekend. Franklin was also very welcoming and responsive - even stopped by to give us extra eco bricks for a bonfire our second night. If you're looking for a place for group of 10+ to hang out and enjoy time together, this is a great option. We'd love to come back!

The Hemlock was a lovely place for a group of ladies to relax and enjoy an evening of fellowship after shopping all day! The beds were super comfy, and everything is just delightful in every way possible! Franklin was an amazing host that was very helpful and responsive when needed. We will certainly be back!

Franklin went above and beyond for our stay at the Hemlock Place! From the moment of booking, he immediately sent a personalized message to our group about our upcoming stay to celebrate my birthday and he made a point to highlight the significance of the first day of our stay being International Women's Day. When we arrived, we found a happy birthday balloon clipped to a sweet welcome note and he even set out an HDMI cord for us to use in the theater (!!!) to hook up a laptop for a theme night we had planned. The photos of the place do NOT do it justice. It was immaculate and every small detail was thought through and perfect. We had a group of 12 people and we had more than enough space for everyone. The swing was an added bonus and I swear one of us was on that thing at all times. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a huge dinner for the group and the large table fit everyone around it. I couldn't recommend this place more. Please go, you won't regret it!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Franklin! An incredible and hospitable host. The photos truly don’t do this place justice. It was truly jaw dropping and captivating in person when you first opened the door. Thank you, Franklin for opening your barn for others to receive an immeasurable experience. Blessings!

Our stay exceeded expectations. Our group loved the space and all the cool details in the barn. The living room and kitchen area was conducive to interaction and conversation. The hot tub was wonderful on a chilly night! The place was spotless, and communication with the host was courteous and prompt. We hope to return in the future!
