The Reservoir is truly unique. Sitting proudly overlooking the entire town of Bathurst and Mount Panorama, you'll be wowed from every angle. Do you go upstairs and enjoy the breath taking view or do you wander downstairs and feel the cool of the underground lower level, play pool in the games room or take in the gorgeous indoor atrium? Many a family reunion has been enjoyed here, large enough for everyone stay together and still have plenty of space and privacy. On offer is a 7 bedroom home complete with; 1 Master Bedroom, including King Bed, walk through robe and ensuite. 4 Queen rooms all with walk in robes, 2 with ensuites! 2 King single rooms both with 2 king single beds! All have high quality AH Beard beds, lovely manchester and Sheridan towels... This amazing property has a long and very interesting history… Originally built in the 1880s, it was the towns main water supply! By the 1950s, Bathurst had outgrown this water source and it was decommissioned. Around 1989, a local couple bought the property and began building what's now known by the locals as = The Reservoir = Photos in the home will take you down memory lane and if you look carefully, you'll find some of those buildings still stand today!

很美的小镇，一切都很棒，这栋房子让我们惊艳，为此我们改变行程多住了一晚！Everything is amazing！We love here & enjoy here！（这栋房子位置很安静，附近有Coles，可以自己采购食材回来烹饪，非常赞！）
The Reservoir is an ideal place for a large group. However the house needs to have serious attention to the following Cleanliness - not clean at all in all areas of the home. Nothing was provided for us to do a small clean like a basic broom,mop ,tea towels and cleaning and everyday kitchens items such as a sponge. ( we attended Woolies to buy basic essentials that should have been provided. Bbq- absolutely disgusting. I spent quite some time to get it clean and yet again had to purchase items from Woolies. Dishwasher- didn’t work Taps and toilet seats need major repair and attention Shower in ensuite of one of the double rooms downstairs. Unable to even have a shower in the ensuite water was only trickling out. Kitchen crockery ,cups and glasses etc all need to be replaced. A glass whilst been hand washed by my wife actually split in her hand causing a major laceration to her finger so off to BATHURST HOSPITAL emergency to have it rectified. Quite disgusted.
Fabulous layout and amenities. A few broken appliances but not too difficult to manage. Bathurst is amazing. Would suit large or several families.
The location is breathtaking, as many have mentioned. Kudos to the developers for transforming this water tank into a magnificent 7-bedroom home. Its spaciousness allows for easy supervision of kids throughout the circular layout, which our large group thoroughly appreciated. The expansive lounge and dining space provided an ideal setting for our group to socialize, chat, and enjoy music together. However, there are areas for improvement. A more thorough cleaning, including carpet (steam cleaning) and curtain care every six months, would greatly benefit families with dust mite allergies. Additional attention to stocking toilet paper and checking pantry item expiration dates is necessary. Maintenance issues, such as the kitchen sink tap and a shower head, require fixing. Although initially a challenge,the bedroom key situation was promptly resolved. Despite these minor concerns, we immensely enjoyed our stay and appreciate the flexibility in our early check-in due to the weather.Thanks

The Reservoir is close to public transport and a short stroll to the main centre of town...

I stumbled across hosting when my husband found The Reservoir. We couldn't bare to rent it out without enjoying it ourselves and so our hosting journey began.
