One word….perfection! Group getaway for some downtime & this beautiful home & surroundings did exactly what we hoped. We particularly liked house layout, plenty of space so we didn’t all have to be in one room together all the time & all bedrooms ensuite, important to a group holiday. Weather was glorious, mayo at its finest & everywhere within a short drive…when we could pull ourselves away from relaxing at base. John & Sharon on hand if need be and we have no hesitation recommending their home - not to be missed if holidaying in this area!

Stunning house in a beautiful location. We visited with a group of friends and the house is even bigger and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Incredibly clean and spacious. A huge amount is provided in the kitchen (tea, coffee, spices, salt, pepper, oil). John was lovely and responsive, helping me arrange a Tesco shop. Sound can travel through the house so ear buds are recommended.

It was an absolutely beautiful property and suited our needs very well. Our only set back was we found the house very cold on arrival and it was slow to heat up downstairs, especially in the sitting room. However once this was rectified, with assistance from the host, the place was lovely and cosy. All the in-house facilities you need are there, instructions easy to hand if needed and very comfortable beds. The location was beautiful and wished we had been able to stay longer to get the full value. We hope to return in the not so distant future.

We had a fantastic stay in Ballycroy. The house is even nicer than the photos and suited our needs perfectly. It was very well equipped and a real bonus that essential items such as oil, tea, washing powder etc were provided. The house was very cosy despite the horrendous weather we had during our stay. I would highly recommend this house particularly for large family groups such as ourselves

Had a family get together here for Xmas. This location is amazing even in mid winter !The house is well suited for a large group, there was 10 of us and plenty space to accommodate everyone .The en-suite bedrooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable and warm. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the extra pots/pans/utensils and condiments needed made settling in effortless. John is an excellent host and provided all the baby equipment we needed also. All topped off with a lovely welcome hamper. Would happily recommend this place.
