Helen and Martin were responsive and helpful. First, the location can’t be beat - you can walk to anything in Madrid. We had an early check in, and after a long trip we appreciated finding all the essentials - soap, shampoo, toilet paper, sponges, laundry detergent, paper towels, coffee, tour books, maps, fast internet, lots of helpful hints … plus a nice bottle of Rioja wine. Everything was clean and pleasantly updated. We (2 of us) had plenty of hot water for showers. The only very minor negatives were street noise (it was Semana Santa / Holy Week - so probably louder than normal, but we found that the new windows blocked most of the noise), and the cozy size of the bathroom/shower which we got used to pretty quickly. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend Thank you

Helen's place was exactly what I needed for the trip. It was spacious and nice. Everything was in a walkable distance. Helen was very friendly and responsible.

We can’t say enough positives about our host and the fantastic location of this cozy flat. Many thanks to Martin and Helen for always being responsive and helpful. We hope to return to Madrid one day (which by the way is a fantastic city) and if we do we’ll be sure to stay here.

A friend and I spent a wonderful month in Helen & Martin's flat. I really appreciated Martin's flexibility at checkin as my flight was delayed several hours. The flat is pretty much like the pix but with a really nicely renovated bathroom. We felt immediately comfortable. There's no shortage of anything nearby. You'll find restaurants, supermarkets and many of the top tourist attraction in Madrid to be but a few steps away. The nearby restaurants have music at lunchtime and there's a little noise from the hustle and bustle of street life, but it's nothing excessive. The nights were quiet. We would definitely consider staying there again.

I loved this apt, it is wonderfully located. Helen and Martin where fantastic hosts, so helpful and great with recommendations. Would definitely stay again, recommend it 100%
