Diese Unterkunft ist ein ganz besonderer Platz. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment wohlgefühlt. Der atemberaubende Ausblick von 3 (!) Terrassen, das geräumige, liebevoll gestaltete Haus, der ruhige Ort und die wunderschöne Bucht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzliche Menschen. Sie haben alles mögliche getan, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Diese vier Tage in Stara Baska waren ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

The house is very nice, only a short walk from a lovely small beach that we had all to ourselves most of the time. Jasminka and her husband are super friendly and welcoming. There are some details that should be noted for future guests: You will have to carry your stuff from the parking space up on the road down a steep path with some stairs, so make sure to pack light. Inside, there‘s the bedroom on the first floor with a lovely terrace and a beautiful view, the other bedroom is on the second floor and has its own bathroom but no door, so there‘s not too much privacy there. The kitchen is equipped with a small coffee maker, so if you’re more than two people who drink coffee, that might be too small and you might wanna bring your own. Bring toilet paper too, as there was only a very small amount of that. Other than that, we had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the peace and quiet!

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei euch. Familiäre Atmosphäre, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt einen fast privaten Strand, süße Gassen und viel Grün. Vielen herzlichen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft.

The sea views are to die for, the beaches are absolutely beautiful, and the water is very clean. We were in Stara Baška off season, so there were no crowds- the situation might look different in summer though. We loved the welcoming hosts, we had wonderful hikes and visited charming local towns. But I must mention that from the photos and description, we had expected a bigger and a more luxurious house. While the bedrooms were decent size (one with a big terrace, but toilet on the main floor, and the other with an en-Suite and a balcony), the downstairs area was pretty cramped, and the kitchen was tiny - one cook at a time please. The dishwasher was not in the description, but it would have been nice to have one. In general, the house was cosy and nice, but not “a luxury villa”. By the local standards (dozens of rooms and apartments for rent), however, it was certainly above average. And yes, Jasminka and Nereo are hospitable, nice and responsive people - we loved them!
