We had a lovely weekend staying at the Old Stables to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. I'd informed Paula why we were going and that it was my 1st time booking an airbnb. She couldn't have been more helpful. Replied very quickly and positively to my questions and put a welcome sign in the vestibule. She was kind and thoughtful in leaving a card and gift for my husband in the living room and milk in the fridge. Everywhere looked clean and tidy and the heating was on to make it even more welcoming. The welcome book with instructions was clear and simple. The facilites were ideal for 6 adults (our 2 daughters and their partners were with us). The location was great and we loved the village. There was a good variety of things to do within easy walking distance in the village and a good selection of places to eat and drink. She also let us leave our cars on the drive after checkout so that we coukd into the village for breakfast. We would recommend staying here.

What a gorgeous town and a lovely place to stay! We have 5 kids and they all had a lovely time, were comfortable and well entertained in the town. We really enjoyed our time at Paula's Old Stables house - it's cosy and clean, well organized and equipped. Paula is a fantastic host who added special touches of hospitality and Bourton-on-the-water is stunning, relaxing and walkable.

This property was absolutely beautiful for our little weekend away. The kitchen area and the patio became our favourite hangout spots. Aside from being clean, and fully-equipped, it is quite well located and a short walk away from any of the attractions. Paula was a lovely host to us - she was proactive and responsive right from the day we booked. She was very accommodating to all our questions and even provided us a sleeping cot for my friend’s baby. She kindly left us little treats around the property, and also offered to post something we had dropped there. Had a great experience with Paula and would love to visit again.
