The decor and layout of the home was very cute. Its an old house and one must be preparded for all noises of an old house; the squeeky floors, the rain, the furnace and doors. The linens and towels were very nice but the kitchen was pretty scarse. The carpet is old but Deb allows pets so its a trade off. We didnt like the app to open and lock the door. All the doors were hard to open . The location was eprfect for us.

The house has history, it was small and beautiful. Side door would not open but easy fix I am sure. I did not report it due the fact we were there for work just a couple of days. Heated well and easy access. oven worked well and so did fridgerator and dish washer. Need a quick place this would be great for the price.

Darling bungalow in downtown Valparaiso. We were well aware that the bungalow was nearly a hundred years old, however it was tired looking. The carpet needs replaced or new flooring put in. A fresh coat of paint, as well. We appreciate the owners hosting us for a quick weekend.

Really great place to stay in for the weekend in Valpo. It was so comfortable, cozy, and clean. We felt right at home here. Exactly as pictured. Super easy to walk to everything in Downtown Valpo. Easy to find street parking outside of the house and along all of the neighboring streets at any time of day. It was pretty straightforward to use the smart lock on your phone, but I would recommend getting the app/account set up beforehand. You just download an app, make an account, connect it to your Airbnb account, and then when you're in proximity of the door you can unlock it with your phone. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!
