Beautiful location and building structure. But residence was very dirty and was not clean on arrival. Three sliding doors on the front of the residence weren’t lockable, The floors were dirty and there were cobwebs throughout. The actual bed in the loft was a bed base type on the floor which wasn’t suitable so We had to sleep on a fold out couch on the floor. The bedding didn’t seem clean. The bathtub / shower was dirty and there wasn’t any bathmat and the towels weren’t fresh. The kitchen was dirty and there wasn’t adequate cooking pans and there was mice droppings in the cupboard and on the plates. Besides that there was plenty of firewood for the heating which was a plus. If this residence had a thorough clean some maintenance and new bedding and towels it would be a great stay in a nice private location.

It was so peaceful to be away from the busy city but only a short drive in. Felt very homely and a nice small place to call home for a few nights. Louise & Phil were very helpful and were always around if needed.

Louise was very good with communication. Breakfast basket was lovely filled with local produce. Quiet peaceful location.
