My stay at Francesca's historical apartment was just perfect. Every amenity for cooking and living, was thought of, and provided. It felt like home away from home, and you could not ask for a better location if you want to be close to the action, and near many attractions like museums and theatres. I arrived during Carnevale d'Acireale and the floats were only feet from the balcony. I enjoyed festivities and parades and delicious food and drinks only a few minutes walk away. It is peaceful and quiet in the apartment, but if you want to have the windows open there is often noisy traffic below, or are there during a festival, and prefer it absolutely quiet, it may not be for you. I enjoyed music in the piazza until after midnight one night, and it kept going much later. Music or TV drowns it out mostly. Francesca was helpful and available for my every need. She was even kind enough to not only allow a late check-in after I missed a train, but also picked me up from the train station c
