We were going to The Isha Foundation and loved the close proximity. It’s a pastoral farm setting and very private. “Ansa” who was the resident host and cook did an excellent job looking after us, and making sure we were well fed. She’s an excellent cook. We liked the spaciousness of the farm house (we were the only guests). There is a large modern kitchen and a roomy living room. Ansa and her husband grow all the organic vegetables they serve. Sweet. The problem we had was wifi. They used an “Airtel my wifi” amplifier and it would only work for 4-5 minutes before cutting out. When it did work, the download speed was marginal. We have businesses online and uploading a short video was impossible to do. The wifi might work if you have an emergency message to make, but not much more than that. We would have added 2 more days to our stay, we liked the place that much, but the lack of wifi was a deal breaker. Finding the farm is nearly impossible. Directions are 2 miles off.

We had an incredible stay at Sree’s home. Tucked in a serene village near the Velliangiri mountains, this place was such a delight for city dwellers like us.caretakers durai & Hamsa were exceptionally hospitable and took care of all our needs including delicious home cooked local delicacies. Sree is a wonderful host and personally made sure we had a great stay. Surrounding villagers were very welcoming as my 1 year old explored their farms and played with farm animals. Overall this was one of our most memorable stays and will definitely visit again.

a great options to stay if u are visiting Isha Foundation as Yara's nest is just around 8 kms from Isha Foundation. we visited during busy hours of shivaratri. you can get authentic south indian cuisine at this place. host is very responsive and considerate for any help.
