We were looking for accommodation to attend the Woodford Folk Festival and though Annette and Rob's place is 10km from the festival we sacrificed being right there in tent city for comfort and so glad we did. Their property is modern, clean, tidy and has all the kitchen utensils, basic condiments and cleaning items ready to go. We drove to the festival during the day, returned to our accom for an afternoon nap and refresh then went back in the arv by Taxi so we could have some drinks. We were able to get a taxi straight away but did have to pre-book at night due to them only having 2 taxis in town and being so busy, this meant we had to plan our exit rather then be spontaneous. However, this suited us as we planned our times around the shows we wanted to see but to escape the heat/rain and return to a hot shower, comfy bed and air-conditioning made it so much more enjoyable for us. Our friends who camped at tent city were very envious! Thanks for having us :) We will be back!
