Great spot in Argentiere - perfectly located in the national park for walks in the forest and privacy. The chalet is older / more dated than the pictures but we had a very comfortable stay. We didn’t rent a car and it was easy to get around with the busses to Le Tour and Chamonix - 10min walk to the lift in Grands Montets (where we had a locker) which offers the best skiing. Jon was a great host - always proactive and responsive; attended to all our needs and we were impressed that the team did their utmost best to fix the hot tub within a day when it broke down. We had breakfast and dinner catered on selected dates and it was all amazing! Would warmly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Nous avons passé un séjour dépaysant dans un cadre exceptionnel. Le chalet est authentique, très confortable et accueillant. La situation géographique est parfaite (à 2 pas du centre du village mais pas de vis à vis avec d'autres voisins). Le Jacuzzi extérieur et le sauna sont aussi très appréciables...Jon est aussi un hôte exceptionnel qui vous facilité le séjour en étant à votre service...bref, que du bonheur

We had a fabulous week. Jon is a great host - very friendly and professional, giving us lots of advice and recommendations. The location of the chalet was exceptional and the chalet is very charming. We also very much enjoyed the outdoor spa and sauna as the spot is very private with no direct neighbours. It is not a modern chalet but it’s retro feel is very much part of the charm. There were many thoughtful touches that were very much appreciated. We would go back tomorrow.

We rented Jon's chalet "Les Marmottes" for a week between Xmas and New Year and we had a fabulous time. The chalet is exceptionally located in Argentieres. To be clear, there is no better location in the entire village. It is at the left of 200 m private road, surrounded by trees, private and secluded and at the same time, 5' top from the center of Argentieres. You can't beat that. On top, you just put your snow shoes or nordic skis and off you go, just a couple of meters from the chalet. The outdoor equipment is exceptional: the jacuzzi of course surrounded by trees and even more the outdoor panoramic sauna heated by a wood furnace is simply amazing. It is indeed a true private winter wonderland as said in the description. Inside, the chalet is not luxurious, it is authentic, cozy, homey, it still resonates from all the laughs and good time of all previous guests. We found (we were 7) at home very quickly. All 4 rooms have a decent size, 2 are sharing a bathroom and 2 have their own bathroom + there is a bonus room and shower downstairs. The living room is not huge but the corner fireplace is the very heart of the chalet. The kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and functional but not updated. Jon and his team are exceptional both in effectiveness and rapidity. We hired through Jon a chef, Ivan, for NYE and it was one of the best NYE we had, so delicious! Finally, we hired a guide through Jon too to go trekking and Guillaume was just perfect, both are essential team members of Jon's team as well as Tomek who was taking care everyday of the house. Long and short, we highly recommend it! A fabulous place and host!
