We were impressed with Carol's fabulous hosting skills long before we arrived. She went out of her way to send us regular updates on local conditions, possible traffic, weather updates, and local attractions; she always responded quickly and helpfully to our many questions. Once we arrived, she checked on us quickly and continued to provide helpful information. The cottage itself is adorable, outfitted with great thought and care. Beds are very comfortable, and include pillow "choices" and lovely blankets. The property is private and lovely. We are "dog" people so we enjoyed playing with Carol's dogs, but she made it clear that she keeps them away from people who don't want that doggy attention. Dirt road is well maintained---be aware of VT's "mud season!" My son, his partner, my sister and I made this trip to join nearby family for a viewing of the total eclipse WHICH WAS AMAZING. We are SO glad that we found Carol's place as a place to stay, and recommend it highly.

We loved our three night stay at Carol’s guest house. We skied at Craftsbury Outdoor Center every day and were so happy to come back every evening and cozy up by the fire. It was about a 15 min drive to the COC and 10 min from the Genny (the best curated general store/small grocery). Carol was super helpful and an incredible resource for area recreation. Carol is the best and we recommend staying here 100%. We hope to come back and stay next year. Thank you, Carol!

We have now stayed at Carol’s place multiple times and absolutely love it! It is quite cozy and a great space for our family of five. The location is perfect for visiting the Craftsbury outdoor center. Carol is a wonderful host and goes out of her way to make you comfortable— the extra amenities and touches are really special! Can’t wait to come back again

Another great stay for our family of four at Carol's guest house - she's a wonderful host (friendly, attentive and responsive) and her place is private, quiet, surrounded by woods, comfortable and immaculately clean.

Carol is the best host we've ever had. She's so helpful and accommodating. Craftsbury is very conveniently located, within an hour drive of so many things we wanted to do while visiting Vermont! There's also a basket full of brochures for fun and interesting things to do and places to see!
